Article Preparation and Submission Guidelines for Authors

Thank you for your interest in publishing with Dynamic Journal of Arts and Social Science Research. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing and submitting your manuscript.

1. General Information

  • Originality: Manuscripts must represent original work and must not have been previously published or under consideration by another journal. Any exceptions must be explained in the Comments to the Editor.
  • Plagiarism: All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using reliable software. Manuscripts with more than 15% similarity will be rejected or returned for revision.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that could influence the research. A declaration of conflict of interest must be included in the manuscript, even if no conflicts exist.
  • File Format: The submission file must be in Microsoft Word. Authors are required to use the Cover Letter, Title Page, and Anonymous Manuscript templates provided by the journal.

2. Article Preparation

Article Types

We accept the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Research Notes
  • Book Reviews

Article Length

There are no strict limitations on article length; however, the manuscript should be concise and comprehensive and recommended to keep word count within 6000-8000.

File Format

  • Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word using the journal’s official template.
  • Ensure all formatting aligns with the journal's standards.

Formatting Specifications

  • Font:
    • Title: Congenial SemiBold 
    • Text: Trebuchet MS
  • Font Size:
    • Title: 22pt, bold
    • Headings: 12pt, bold, Times New Roman
    • Text: 9pt, Trebuchet MS
  • Line Spacing: 1.5

Article Structure

i. Title Page (to be submitted separately):

  • Title of the article
  • Author list with affiliations
  • Funding details
  • Acknowledgment section

ii. Manuscript (anonymous for peer review):

  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words summarizing the study.
  • Keywords: Include 5–8 relevant keywords following the abstract.
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review/Hypotheses Development
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusions
  • Limitations and Directions for Further Study
  • References
  • Appendices (if applicable)

iii. Tables and Figures

  • Place tables and figures within the main text, following their first citation.
  • Ensure that tables and figures are numbered sequentially and include descriptive titles above and source below

v. Grammar and Style

  • All manuscripts must follow British English language style.
  • Authors are encouraged to use Grammarly or similar grammar-checking tools to ensure linguistic accuracy.

vi. Cover Letter

  • Every submission must include a cover letter addressed to the Editor.
  • The cover letter must affirm that:
    • The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
    • The manuscript has not been published in another journal.
  • You may suggest two reviewers with relevant expertise, including their affiliations and email addresses.

 

3. Article Submission

  • Ensure all components of the submission are complete, including the cover letter, title page, and manuscript.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submission complies with the journal’s ethical and formatting requirements.

 

4. Article Processing Charges (APC)

In General, No APC

This journal is a non-profit and OPEN ACCESS, dedicated to advancing knowledge and providing a platform for scholarly discourse. However, to cover essential managerial and publication costs, DONATION is requested from the Authors.

 

5. Review Process

  • Manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity and quality of the research.
  • The review process typically includes:
    • Initial editorial screening for scope and quality.
    • Anonymous evaluation by at least two expert reviewers.
    • Notification of the editorial decision (accept, revise, or reject).
  • The average review time is approximately 6–8 weeks.

6. Ethics Policy

Dynamic Journal of Arts and Social Science Research (DJASSR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. The journal follows principles of integrity, transparency, fairness, and accountability throughout the publication process. Authors, reviewers, and editors must avoid plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, conflicts of interest, and other forms of misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are subject to appropriate ethical screening and peer review. Suspected ethical violations will be investigated and addressed in accordance with established scholarly publication standards.

7. Authorship Policy

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, research, analysis, interpretation, or preparation of the manuscript. All listed authors must approve the final version and agree to its submission and publication. Individuals who provide only administrative, technical, or general support should be appropriately acknowledged rather than listed as authors. Changes in authorship after submission require the consent of all authors.

8. Open Access Policy

DJASSR follows an open access publishing model, making its published scholarly articles freely available to readers without subscription or access charges. Readers may access, read, download, cite, and share published articles for legitimate scholarly purposes in accordance with the applicable licensing terms. The journal supports broad dissemination of academic knowledge while maintaining appropriate attribution to authors and preserving the integrity of the published work.

9. Digital Preservation Policy

DJASSR is committed to preserving the scholarly record and ensuring long-term access to its published content. Published articles and associated metadata are maintained through appropriate digital preservation and archival practices. The journal seeks to protect content against accidental loss, technical failure, or discontinuation of the publishing platform and will take reasonable measures to ensure continued accessibility.

10. Complaint Policy

DJASSR welcomes complaints concerning editorial decisions, publication procedures, ethical issues, or other journal-related matters. Complaints are reviewed objectively, confidentially, and without prejudice. The editorial office will investigate concerns promptly and take appropriate corrective action where necessary.
